Some of you may recall the ‘Video Bore-ys’ furore, when the unregulated availability of home video titles showing banality and stultifying tedium on a scale never before witness on British screens led to a huge public outcry, with the likes of God’s Wonderful Railway, The Best Of CP & Qwikstitch, Doctor Who And The Meglos and The Song And The Story (Strong Uncut Version) were freely available to viewers of any age, before appropriate legislation was introduced to deal with the problem. In recent years, many of the one-time ‘Bore-ys’, which now seem almost interesting when compared to the standards of more modern boredom-fests like Red Riding and Krod Mandoon And The Flaming Sword Of Fire, have been quietly re-released to little consternation. However, news now reaches us that the most notorious ‘Bore-y’ of them all is set to appear uncut on DVD…

Please, before it’s too late, lobby your MP to get this vile sickening yawnfest withdrawn, and replaced with series one of The Grimleys.
