‘Homespun media terrorist and Northern publishing tycoon’ John Connors has just announced details of Plaything Of Sutekh, a forthcoming print-based Doctor Who fanzine that aims to bridge the gap between ‘proper’ Who-related print publications and online/eBook/digital stuff with good old-fashioned opinion-driven feature.
It covers everything from the black and white stories to Steven Moffat’s latest viewer-confusing references to the black and white stories, with features including the fascinating-sounding ‘What Did The Sixties Do For Who?’, some thoughts on Douglas Adams writing for the Daleks, and my own take on famously maligned Tom Baker story The Android Invasion and what it has to do with Hale & Pace dressed as Simon & Garfunkel.
Plaything Of Sutekh will be available soon, and you can read more about it here, or visit the official site here.
