This doesn’t really have anything to do with anything, and what’s more you’d probably all rather be following live tweets about Rupert Murdoch babbling something about not ever having heard of Hamble before falling over singing Scott Walker’s The Cockfighter to boot, but… well, this just needed to be posted.
Astonishingly, this was the published front cover – yes, it was available in the shops and everything – of issue 5 of The Official Red Dwarf Smegazine. Not that much of the rest of it bears any great resemblance to anyone who was ever part of the series cast at any point, but just look at that Kryten – not only does he bear an uncanny resemblance to the aged Tenth Doctor in Doctor Who And I Hear The Sound Of Drums (And A Melody) (“Boo! Hiss!” – cretins, yesterday), but rarely has an artist so successfully captured the essence of downtrodden defeatism. Oh Kryten, will you ever win?
And that, ladies and gentlemen, has to be the most ridiculous artistic representation of a Series 4000 Service Droid in the history of anything ever.

I… what?
